Soils – From vines around fifteen years old, this Merlot is located on a plot at the top of the hillside. Limestone soils, sand, gravel and stones form this “inactive” and finely divided limestone which brings complexity and depth to this grape variety.
Vinification – In the vineyard, particular care is taken and low yields give maximum concentration and fruit to the grapes. A first sorting is carried out during the harvest then a second before pressing, in order to ensure optimal quality.
Color – Intense purple color.
Nose – Complex nose with scents of black berries, anise, chocolate
black, roasted and white pepper.
Taste – rich and ample, aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants and black cherries supported by a basket of spices. Generous wine ending with powerful and supple tannins.
