Terroir – South-east facing and located at the top of the slope in Coinsins, the EN CHANELLAZ parcel sits on light, calcareous, sandy, and stony soils. This “inactive” limestone imparts complexity and depth to the Pinot Noir.
Vinification – Very old vines, over 70 years of age, and naturally low yields deliver maximum concentration and fruit expression. Manual harvest in small crates, with sorting carried out entirely in the vineyard, ensures optimal quality.
Appearance – Clear, bright ruby colour.
Nose – Initial notes of subtle oak and a delicate, protective reduction, followed by wild strawberry and blackcurrant. The bouquet is intense and crisp.
Palate – Clean and supple, without excessive roundness; concentrated yet without unnecessary power. Fine, fresh, fruity, balanced, and long.
