Terroir – South-east facing and perched on the upper slopes of Mont-sur-Rolle, the VY GRANGE parcel benefits from topsoil rich in clay intermingled with silt, ensuring both water retention and moderate drainage. The presence of marl enhances the wine’s minerality and tension. The soil is generally deep, well-structured, and perfectly suited to Chasselas, fostering freshness, elegance, and longevity.
Vinification – Balanced yields allow for maximum concentration and fruit expression. Manual harvest in small crates with sorting carried out entirely in the vineyard ensures optimal quality. To preserve tension and crisp acidity, this cuvée undergoes no malolactic fermentation.
Appearance – Clear, limpid golden-yellow hue.
Nose – Intense, with floral notes (linden blossom), alongside citrus and subtle honeyed aromas.
Palate – Fresh and finely chiseled, with a precise, mouthwatering minerality. This Chasselas delivers beautiful acidity and tension.
